When we work together you will learn to understand your own voice and how to harness safe and efficient vocal technique so you can perform with confidence.
As every voice is different and every voice is always changing, I tailor lessons to where you're at and where you want to be so we can get there together.
I've spent years studying the complexities of voice science and vocal technique so I can distill it into engaging lessons that help you achieve your singing goals.
I have taught vocal studies at university level since 2014, and have also worked privately with primary, secondary and HSC school students as well as adults.
Singing was my first musical love, and what caused me to gravitate towards learning the guitar (so I could accompany myself singing) and choirs (so I could sing with as many other people as possible).

I use a Kodály-inspired curriculum combining singing, musical games and teaching strategies designed specifically for young children to ignite a lifelong love of music in young children while they learn safe and healthy vocal technique, music notation and musical concepts.

Get off on the right foot with my carefully structured curriculum that develops fundamental vocal technique for contemporary styles.

We will focus on your preferred style/s and repertoire as you build on existing technique, increase your vocal efficiency, develop repertoire for performance and work on your performance skills.

We will focus on advanced guitar technique in your preferred style/s, troubleshoot technical problems that are interfering with the fluency of your singing and develop higher level performance skills.

If you want to work on developing both your guitar and vocal skills, I can combine these in the same lesson. We can also focus on strategies for accompanying yourself while your are singing and troubleshoot the specific problems that arise when you are playing two instruments at once!

Pricing varies depending on location and what you need, ranging from $200-1500 per term.
